Technical Data
Ultraviolet‑fused silica glass offers a broader spectral range (185 nm–2.1 μm) than K9 optical glass, exhibiting excellent transmittance in the ultraviolet region. It features a lower refractive index, superior homogeneity, and a smaller thermal expansion coefficient, along with enhanced chemical resistance and very low fluorescence, making it suitable for fabricating a variety of optical components. A biconcave lens diverges light rays and has a negative focal length; it consists of two concave surfaces with equal radii of curvature and is commonly used to expand beam diameters, project images, or increase the focal length of optical systems.
Chongfan Technology’s UV‑grade fused quartz biconcave lenses are available as standard off‑the‑shelf products in a wide range of sizes and focal lengths, with both coated and uncoated options. Our broadband anti‑reflection coatings cover the UV spectrum (250–400 nm), meeting the diverse wavelength requirements of various applications. Custom lens specifications can also be tailored to your specific needs.
