Technical Data
K9 optical glass is an optical material with excellent broad‑band transmittance, exhibiting high transmission across the 350 nm–2000 nm wavelength range. It boasts superior hardness, can withstand a variety of physical and chemical stresses, and contains low levels of bubbles and impurities. Consequently, it is frequently used as a substrate for various optical components, enabling the fabrication of lenses, windows, filters, beamsplitters, mirrors, prisms, and more. It diverges light, has a negative focal length, and consists of two concave surfaces with equal curvature. It is commonly employed to expand the beam diameter of lenses, for projection applications, and to increase the focal length of optical systems.
Chongfan Technology’s K9 biconcave lenses are available in a wide range of sizes and focal lengths, with both coated and uncoated options. Broadband anti-reflection coatings are offered for the VIS (visible), NIR (near-infrared), and SWIR (short-wave near-infrared) spectral regions, enabling versatile applications across different wavelength bands and scenarios. Chongfan Technology can also customize lenses to meet your specific requirements.
