The Chongfan Technology field lens is a high‑power, flat‑field scanning lens assembly. It uses ultraviolet‑grade fused silica as the lens substrate and is integrated into a mechanical housing according to a proprietary design. Its focal length is given by f × θ, where θ is the angle of incidence of the input beam; consequently, the angular velocity of the input and output beams is directly proportional, enabling the scanning galvanometer mirror to operate at a constant angular speed. This lens is commonly employed to focus laser beams, generating high‑energy‑density focal spots that enhance laser‑processing efficiency. Additionally, it converts the galvanometer’s deflection of the laser beam into corresponding positional changes of the focal point on the workpiece, working in concert with the galvanometer to correct optical aberrations and compensate for field curvature and distortion. During operation, the field lens delivers a flat image plane while significantly simplifying the control circuitry. It features high transmission, a wide scanning range, low aberrations, and minimal F‑Theta distortion, making it highly promising for laser‑processing applications.
