Chongfan Technology’s zoom fiber collimators feature an achromatic design and are available with three anti-reflection coating options: 400–650 nm, 650–1050 nm, and 1050–1650 nm. The focal length can be adjusted over ranges of 6–18 mm, 15–40 mm, or 40–80 mm, while maintaining beam collimation throughout the adjustment process.

Chongfan Technology’s zoom fiber collimator features an achromatic design and offers three anti‑reflection coating options: 400–650 nm, 650–1050 nm, and 1050–1650 nm. Its focal length can be adjusted over ranges of 6–18 mm, 15–40 mm, and 40–80 mm, while maintaining beam collimation throughout the adjustment process. In addition to focal length tuning, it enables precise control of the beam divergence angle, allowing the beam to be focused anywhere between the far‑field limit (see technical notes) and the closest focusing distance. This ensures that free‑space laser beams can be coupled into the fiber with maximum coupling efficiency. Based on an air‑gap lens design, this zoom fiber collimator delivers superior beam quality compared to fixed aspheric fiber collimators. With its low‑aberration air‑gap architecture, its M² factor approaches unity—similar to a Gaussian beam—and exhibits significantly lower wavefront error.

Chongfan Technology’s 6 mm to 18 mm zoom fiber collimator is a versatile, general‑purpose device. With a focal length range of 6–18 mm and an achromatic design, it is well suited for a wide variety of applications. To minimize losses caused by surface reflections, both sides of all lenses in the collimator are coated with broadband anti‑reflection coatings. These coatings cover wavelength ranges of 400–650 nm, 650–1050 nm, and 1050–1650 nm. The output port of the zoom fiber collimator features an SM05 internal thread and an SM1 external thread, enabling integration with other optomechanical components. When the zoom or focus ring is adjusted, the rest of the assembly remains stationary, ensuring that beam‑size adjustments do not interfere with any connected parts and providing excellent pointing stability.

Its focal length can be adjusted between 15 mm and 40 mm, and its achromatic design makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. The 15–40 mm zoom fiber collimator is mounted to a post using an SM2-FR fixed sleeve mount.
