The breadboard includes standard… An array of M6 tapped holes, spaced 12.5 mm apart, facilitates double-sided mounting of components; the number of M6 threaded holes is twice that of a standard optical breadboard. Optical breadboards longer than 300 mm feature five countersunk mounting holes: four at the corners, 25 mm from the edges, and one at the exact center. These five countersunk holes can accommodate vibration-isolating rubber mounts or other mounting bases, and they also enable the breadboard to be secured directly to an optical table surface. When the breadboard’s center bears significant load, adding a mounting base at the central countersunk hole helps maintain surface rigidity and minimize deformation.
