Gran ·The Taylor crystal polarizing prism consists of two prisms made from the same negative uniaxial crystal, with their optical axes parallel to each other (no > ne), and is used to generate linearly polarized light with a high extinction ratio. The Glan–Taylor crystal polarizing prism features an air‑gap structure in its central region and frosted side surfaces, pre‑mounted within a black anodized metal housing. Because it lacks escape windows on its sides, the Glan–Taylor prism is thinner than the Glan laser‑type polarizing prism and is not suitable for high‑power applications. Currently, Glan–Taylor crystal polarizing prisms are available in two clear apertures (Ø10 mm and Ø5 mm) and four operating wavelength ranges: 350 nm–2.3 μm, 200 nm–300 nm, 300–700 nm, and 700 nm–3.0 μm. In addition, Chongfan Technology We also offer custom services for operating wavelength and package dimensions. For any customization requests, please contact technical support.
