Technical Data
The Chongfan achromatic beam expander is designed based on the structure of the Galileo telescope. It is made of a set of high-transmittance optical material negative lenses and a set of achromatic doublet positive lenses. It can enlarge or reduce the diameter of a parallel incident beam of light to a fixed multiple within the working wavelength, with a transmitted wavefront difference after expansion/contraction of <λ/4, minimal aberration, and little impact on beam quality. The adjustment ring on the waist is used to adjust the divergence angle of the outgoing beam, catering to the needs for non-collimated beam expansion. During the rotation of the adjustment ring, due to a special mechanical design, the internal lenses only undergo front-and-back positional translation without rotating randomly with the mechanical ring. This design effectively reduces beam position offset during the divergence angle adjustment process, making the use of the beam expander more stable and reliable. The input and output ends are designed with different specifications of threads; the waist can be installed by means of a clamping component.
