Parameters
Technical Data
Optical passive devices that allow only light to travel in a specified single direction
Protect the light source or optical system from back-reflected noise or interference
Multiple center wavelength options
Different power optional
The mode fiber isolator mainly uses the Faraday effect of the magneto-optical crystal to isolate the reflected light, and only allows the light to transmit in a single direction. It is a passive magneto-optical device. Fiber isolators are used to protect the light source from adverse effects caused by back reflections or signals that can damage the laser or cause mode hopping, amplitude changes, or frequency shifts, and in high power applications, back reflections can also cause instability and power spikes.
