The aspheric fiber collimator is pre-aligned and can be used to collimate the laser light emitted from FC/APC or FC/PC fiber connector. The aspheric lens has chromatic aberration. Its effective focal length (EFL) is related to wavelength. It provides diffraction limit performance at the design wavelength and has good aplanation effect. It is suitable for simple fiber coupling applications. The overall design of the collimator is compact. Both sides of the molded aspheric mirror are coated with anti-reflection film, which can minimize surface reflection. In addition, the socket of FC/APC version is inclined to make the beam output from the optical fiber enter the collimator in the direction of vertical focal plane. The fixed aspheric fiber lens collimator design wavelengths currently include 543 nm, 633 nm, 780 nm, 1064 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm.
