Technical Data
Transmission gratings require a relatively low score density to maintain high efficiency. The greater the scribe density, the greater the diffraction angle, and the refractive properties of the substrate material limit the transmission at long wavelengths, thereby reducing performance. However, the dispersion characteristics of the grating are suitable for compact systems using small detector arrays. Such gratings are also less sensitive to polarization. We offer visible light transmission gratings with four reticle densities and three sizes. Light contact with moisture, fingerprints, aerosols or any rough material can easily damage the grating. Therefore, the grating should only be taken when necessary, and only the edges should be touched. Rubber gloves or similar protective covers should be worn to prevent oil stains on the fingers from touching the grating surface. Except for using clean, dry air or nitrogen to blow the dust on the grating, any other operation is not allowed. The solvent may damage the grating surface.
