Interferometer plane

Both sides of our fused silica interferometer plane are polished to Λ/ 10 flatness with a 10-5 scratch-pitting surface quality. A slight wedge of 30±5 arcs suppresses the internal striation. The optical element has an interferogram which can be used as a calibration reference surface.
