Technical Data

● Optical component material: soda-lime glass

● Emission wavelengths of 300 nm, 500 nm, 750 nm, 1000 nm, 1250 nm, and 1500 nm are available.

● The diffraction efficiency at the peak wavelength can reach 60% to 80%.

● The grating surface is coated with an aluminum film (without a protective layer)

Blazed gratings achieve the redirection and concentration of light energy from the zero order into a specific diffraction order by means of groove profiling; they are dispersive elements widely used in spectroscopy. Chongfan Technology’s blazed gratings are replicated gratings, with first-order diffraction efficiencies exceeding 60% at the blaze wavelength. This series features aluminum‑coated surfaces. Chongfan Technology offers a variety of gratings, allowing you to select the appropriate grating based on the blaze wavelength, blaze angle, or groove density. Chongfan Technology offers blazed gratings with design wavelengths of 300 nm, 500 nm, 750 nm, 1000 nm, 1250 nm, and 1500 nm, featuring groove densities of 300 lines/mm, 600 lines/mm, and 1200 lines/mm. These gratings are coated with an aluminum film. At their blaze wavelength, the gratings deliver a peak diffraction efficiency ranging from 60% to 80%. For custom specifications regarding size or wavelength, please contact Chongfan Technology’s technical support. Please note: the aluminum coating is not protected by a SiO₂ layer. To prevent contamination from fingerprints and aerosols, clean any surface dust only by gently blowing it away with clean, dry air or nitrogen. Additionally, the metallic coating is chemically unstable and susceptible to oxidation and degradation under varying temperature and humidity conditions; we recommend storing the grating in a desiccant cabinet after use. Minor surface imperfections that do not affect performance may be present on the grating surface; such gratings remain qualified products.

Grating Mount Adapter

● Material: 6061-T6 aluminum alloy

● Clamping height: 20–40 mm

● Minimum clamping width: 18 mm

● Clamping thickness: 5–10 mm

Chongfan Technology’s grating mount adapter can be mounted onto a Ø1‑inch optical breadboard mount, enabling pitch and yaw adjustments of the clamped grating. The adapter features a simple design: by sliding the pressure blocks located at the top and bottom of the adapter, the mounting screws on the back of these blocks slide within machined slots, thereby adjusting the height of the clamped grating and rectangular mirror. Finally, tightening the two M3 mounting screws on the back secures the position of the grating and rectangular mirror. This adapter employs a three‑point, adjustable mounting mechanism that incorporates two bottom‑surface contact lines and a planar spring contact on the top surface.
