The Ocean HR4 is a high-resolution spectrometer with fast acquisition, low stray light and excellent thermal stability for applications ranging from blood monitoring to DNA/RNA analysis. Ocean HR4 is compact and rugged, with enhanced circuit design and excellent thermal wavelength stability to ensure reliable performance of spectroscopic measurements in demanding environments.

The Ocean HR4 model covers UV-VIS, VIS-NIR and UV-NIR bands in the wavelength range of ~ 190-1100 nm, and the slit size is 5-200 μm, which helps users control the luminous flux and optical resolution.

The Ocean HR4 spectrometer is compatible with Ocean Optics light sources, accessories and software, allowing users to optimize settings for different applications. With its high resolution performance and thermal stability, the Ocean HR4 enables users to identify small spectral differences between sample peaks. For example, in semiconductor manufacturing, where maintaining accuracy in identifying different spectral features is critical for certain processes, the Ocean HR4 is ideal for optical emission spectroscopy applications.

Each Ocean HR4 spectrometer comes with a OceanDirect, a powerful cross-platform software development kit with an application programming interface API. OceanDirect provide users with features to optimize spectrometer performance, access critical data for analysis, and enable high-speed averaging mode. The high-speed average mode is suitable for the new ocean optical spectrometer, which can significantly improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the spectrometer.
