Hamamatsu Photonics

Author:

In August 2011, in order to better help China's photonic technology and optical industry, Hamamatsu Photonics Trading (China) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hamamatsu China") was established. Hamamatsu China is the market and business activity center of Hamamatsu Group in China, and is fully responsible for the sales, technical support and after-sales service of Hamamatsu products in China. It combines Binsong Group's global vision, advanced technology and China's real market demand in depth, in order to provide customers with determined technical solutions and cost-effective products. Since its establishment, Hamamatsu's sales in China have increased from the initial 0.18 billion yuan (RMB) to 1.8 billion yuan (RMB) in 2021, and have steadily moved towards 2 billion and 2.5 billion yuan (RMB).

Hamamatsu Photonics Business (China) Co., Ltd. was established and took a group photo of experts participating in the establishment meeting.

At present, Hamamatsu China has served more than 6500 customers, behind which is China's real demand for industrial upgrading. We have witnessed China's rapid development in security inspection machines, high-end medical equipment, environmental protection analysis instruments, energy exploration, power battery testing, automatic driving, semiconductor testing, communications and other fields. The company has branches in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuhan, and has offices in Langfang and Hangzhou. In addition, Binsong China has also established a series of its own or joint laboratories in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan and other places to achieve faster and more localized services.

Photonic avalanche nanocrystals with >500-order optical nonlinear response

At the forefront of nonlinear optical materials research, photon avalanche (PA), a unique luminescence mechanism occurring in lanthanide-ion-doped systems, exhibits exponential response under continuous laser pumping through an energy positive feedback loop mechanism, thus demonstrating ultra-high-order nonlinear optical behavior far exceeding traditional upconversion processes.

Ji Xingchen/Su Yikai LPR | 780 nm on-chip integrated high-Q ultra-wideband Fabry-Perot cavity

With the rapid development of applications such as quantum precision measurement, atom manipulation, and narrow linewidth lasers, higher and higher demands are placed on high-performance photonic devices operating in the visible and near-visible wavelength range (especially the 780 nm wavelength corresponding to the rubidium atomic transition).
