The 2025 Munich Shanghai Optical Expo will be held from March 11 to 13, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Changchun Institute of Optics") will make a grand appearance at this year's Shanghai Optical Expo in the form of "exhibition of major scientific research achievements of the institute + exhibition of high-end products from Changguang enterprises" using the "1+M+N" approach, showcasing the comprehensive strength of national research institutions and the vigorous vitality of the Changguang industry at a high level.

The Changchun Institute of Optics has conducted research on high-power laser chips and beam combining, high peak power VCSEL chips, and high-speed VCSEL chips, creating three world firsts in the field of high-power semiconductor laser chips. It has successively won one second prize for national scientific and technological progress and one second prize for national technological invention, undertaking more than 60 national major projects in the past five years.

On April 15, 2024, the sub-meter wide-area camera was successfully launched, achieving a width of 130km at an altitude of 500km, with a full-color resolution of 0.7m and a multispectral resolution of 2.8m across 8 spectral bands. It possesses high resolution, wide coverage, and multispectral imaging capabilities, playing a significant role in fields such as remote sensing, map production, crop yield estimation, and urban planning.

The Changchun Institute of Optics has successfully developed a miniaturized, in-situ Raman spectroscopy (Raman), in-situ laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), and in-situ fluorescence spectroscopy (LIF) combined detection spectrometer (Raman_LIBS_LIF) by integrating mid-step gratings with cross-dispersion technology and artificial intelligence algorithms. In July 2024, the seven-channel portable multispectral fusion spectrometer successfully completed sea trials mounted on a manned submersible, successfully obtaining three spectral data from the cold spring hydrothermal area, marking the successful development of China's first miniaturized in-situ multispectral fusion spectrometer. This not only promotes the research and application of deep-sea in-situ spectroscopic instruments but also lays an important foundation for subsequent marine equipment development.

This device adopts independently developed hyperspectral imaging technology based on slit-prism-grating-prism, working in a push-broom imaging mode, fully utilizing the technical advantages of volume holographic gratings. It features high hyperspectral resolution, high efficiency, good spectral linearity, and minimal spectral line curvature, while also being user-friendly, compact, and lightweight. The main performance indicators reach the leading level of similar international products, meeting the deep perception needs in applications such as education and research, smart agriculture, ecological protection, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial inspection. It is the core spectral module for monitoring traditional Chinese medicine materials.

Based on this technology, the team has developed various parallel adjustment mechanism products with different load capacities and motion strokes. This mechanism can achieve dynamic motion trajectory tracking and different pose switching, suitable for vacuum and cold dark environments. The position accuracy can reach ±0.5 microns/±0.5 arc seconds, with a resolution of 0.5 microns/0.5 arc seconds, reaching a leading level in China.
